Dear Mookie, Fri Aug 11

Dear Mookie,

Tsk. Tsk. What did we tell you about listening to your camp counselors? You know can't get away with this stuff in Brooklyn. What makes you think Quincy is any different? Yeah, we know you are fine and it was fun, but we worry about you. We are glad you are okay and that's all that matters. But the window screen is coming out of your allowance.

We still love you no matter what and miss you dearly.

We had a nice time at the Museum of Gyoung-Gi-Do yesterday and got adjusted to the time difference. This morning we all got up to hike a mountain by here. Korea is 70% mountains. You'd like that. Daddy loves it and ran to the top this morning. Mom and Grandma hiked up to this exercise station this morning on the mountain. They have sit up stations, pull up bars, jump ropes and hula hoops! That's right hula hoops. I'm not sure if you knew that your mommy is a pro at hula hooping. She thinks you'd like it too for different reasons-big circular stick that it is.

We came back had some breakfast and ventured out to the Korean Folk Village after buying a Korean version of popcorn at the flea market in front of grandma and grandpa's home.
You would have loved the folk village. They had crazy folks doing acrobatics on see-saws and tightrope walking. I'm sure you would have liked to join in this korean folk way of celebrating farming towns and people. What wasn't so cool about it was all the animals there. They had donkeys and horses for riding, and pigs, cows, and dogs on display. The dogs were the saddest because they were individually housed in little cages living in their own pee and poop. yuck. They were sweet looking too and big like you, not like these other accessory dogs we keep seeing around here. Oh-- there were some free roaming kitties too that you would have loved to chase, um we mean, get to know better.

We saw some muzungus and americans today. Boy are they loud. We were embarrassed. Also, folk village is kindergarten central with little small smalls.

We love you. It might be time for a nap. Wish you were here.
Remember, not to leave the premises without an adult. When people are not around, the best thing for you to do is stay put. Don't talk to strangers or let anyone in. Take a nap. It will be good for you.

Hugs and kisses
wags and misses
love,
