Mookie's Summer Camp Diary, Day 4
Wag wag wag.
Today was Unauthorized Adventure Day! Don't tell mom and dad, but today Chris took pity on my too-much-running self and decided to leave me home while he went out. And, fool that he is, he left the kitchen window about a quarter of the way open, since it's so hot. Bingo! Once he was gone, I wriggled out the window, clawed through the screen, and tore around the neighborhood! Yay! You can imagine the funny faces Chris made when he got back from his run and I was absolutely nowhere! Ha ha ha!
People are funny looking. You heard it here first.
So after I let Chris tear around the neighborhood on his bike for a little bit I made my Mysterious Reappearance on the front porch, no worse for wear. It was awesome. Chris didn't use that exact word, and seems a little paranoid about the windows now, but no worries. Totally worth it.
And, besides UA day, it's also Complete and Total Stuffed Animal Destruction Day! Casualties so far include a squirrel, a goat, a moose, a chicken, an orange thing that looks like a muppet, one of my rope toys, and a greenie. There's about an inch of stuffing covering the kitchen so far, and I'll be sure to keep you posted.
But anyway. No swimming today, since Chris is heading off to work later this afternoon. I'll just have a nice evening walk with Julie and then settle in on the couch, I think. So much tearing around makes for one tired little me. Be good, enjoy the kimchee, and sarang ayo!
